Emergency School Closings

The school calendar allows for additional closings for snow, severe weather, or contagious disease outbreak.  School may be closed after major roads are cleared of snow because there is a delay in rural road clearing.  School closings are decided by 6am, and are posted by television and radio stations, such as www.local8now.com When possible, volunteers will be informed of emergency closings by email.

Fire Drills and Shut-Downs

The Administration schedules these events to prepare staff and students for real emergencies.  You must comply as well.
